Main Structure of Angola Vocational Skills Training Center Successfully Capped
At local time of April 20, the main structure of the China-aided Angola (Huambo) Vocational Skills Training Center Project undertaken by Zhongding was successfully capped, achieving stage progress of the project.
During project construction, the project team overcame difficulties such as tight construction period, complicated technology, incapable of procuring local materials and equipment due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The project team actively integrated resources, strictly implemented epidemic prevention regulations and actively organized production under the premise that the epidemic was under control. Finally, the capping of the building was successfully completed, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth completion of interim acceptance in the middle of May.
It was reported that, the China-aided Angola Vocational Skills Training Center Project was one of the important livelihood projects provided by the Chinese government to Angola. The project, officially commenced on June 24, 2021, with a total construction area of 6,272 m2 mainly includes administrative teaching building, experimental & practical training factory and ancillary facilities. Once completed, the project will effectively help Angola implement large-scale national vocational education and cultivate professional talents.
