Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao & Governor Lotinolica of Huambo Province Visited the Project of Vocational Skills Training Center in Angola

At local time of Dec.15, a delegation composed of Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao and Governor of Huambo Province, Lotinolica visited the Project of the Vocational Skills Training Center in Angola, sent regards to the project team and inspected the implementation status of the project.

At local time of Dec.15, a delegation composed of Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao and Governor of Huambo Province, Lotinolica visited the Project of the Vocational Skills Training Center in Angola, sent regards to the project team and inspected the implementation status of the project.

 

On the project site, Ambassador Gong Tao expressed satisfaction to the progress and quality of the project undertaken by Zhongding International, and fully affirmed the efforts made by the project team in promoting the implementation of the project, ensuring safe production and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. He hoped that the project team would commit itself to the completion and acceptance of the project in Aug. 2023 and be able to participate in the foreign publicity exhibition held by the Embassy in Aug. & Sept. of 2023. Governor of Huambo Province, Lotinolica thanked the Chinese government for its assistance to Huambo Province. As the infrastructure construction of Huambo Province, the Vocational Skills Training Center Project can alleviate the vocational skills training for local young people and play an important role in promoting youth employment. She also looked forward to more cooperation between the two sides in the future.

 

 

The Training Center Project was launched in June 2021 with the construction progress exceeding 60% and is right now at the closing stage of water, electricity and process equipment installation,which is the 2nd project in Angola following Luanda with an investment of over US$30 million within the framework of bilateral cooperation between China and Angola.
